Overnight Paddles

Camping on the Green River can be done on the islands and the river banks.  Camping permits for camping within the National Park must be obtained online or at Mammoth Cave Campground gate house. Use button below for more info on camping on the river.

Mammoth Cave National Park Camping

(12 miles and 5-6 hours total paddling time)

Green River Ferry to Houchins Ferry

This trip will take you past Boardcut and Crump islands a cave and a blue hole. This is a winding twisting section of the river that will take you right past Turnhole spring. 


**Camping permits are required for riverside camping and are the responsibility of the customer. Please bring your permit in with you at check in.

Dennison Ferry to Houchins Ferry

This combination of 2 day trips will take you past 6+ islands where you can stop to camp, picnic or just hang out, 2 cave entrances, blue hole, springs and the Green river ferry.
